A Bible Timeline Chart Offers A Graphical Representation To Aid And Help Teach Bible Characters And Events And Facts

In our weekly Bible study years ago, a friend who had been a Christian and worked in the local Church for over 15 years, made this statement,"Yes, but Abraham had the Law and so he understood about......" (they weren't talking about the pre-Moses law) I wonder how many Christians would actually notice the error in this claim. Moses lived five hundred years after Abraham and so it is impossible. I have since put together a Bible history timeline and shown graphically the chronology of individuals and events.

Why is it that we get stuck in a rut of our favorite subjects and sugar coated sermons?
We preach on a text from Joshua and a narrative about David and a topical from the book of Jeremiah and then the faith of Joshua or the healings through Peter - pieces from here and everyplace, but we do not put it all at once in an evident understandable, easy to remember, perspective with a good Bible TimeLine including Church History as well. Constantly we're bombarded with new books, modernist ideas, a few of them perilously edging toward Liberal doctrine, when if we were to be taught the basic principles of Church history, we then wouldn't be so doomed to repeat it.
Let's us as teachers and preachers stitch together the aspects of the Bible and God's plan into a logical whole that our people can draw on for the remainder of their lives, helping them to understand God, His Eternal Plan, the role of the Church and how to better translate the Bible to order our lives by.
It's not hard to do, and it's not boring if we're ready to put in a bit of effort prayer and fervor, and just possibly you can make use of a Bible Timeline too.
